Why companies fly a photographer in
Hiring someone at the destination is the easy option. The trouble starts when you realize they do not know anyone, cannot tell the CEO from the new hire, and do not see why this particular moment matters. A photographer who travels with the group knows the people by the second evening, and it shows in the pictures.
There is a practical side too. We arrive with a full kit and backups. Far from home, a gear failure without a spare cannot be fixed, because the event will not happen twice.

Common questions
Do you really fly abroad for one event?
Yes, it is a regular part of the job. We have shot company events in more than 20 countries, including Tanzania, the Seychelles, Mykonos, Morocco, Thailand, Miami and London.
What does it cost to bring you abroad?
The photography price depends on shooting days and the number of photographers, and flights and accommodation are added on top. In most cases we join the company's group booking, which comes out cheaper.
How far ahead should we book?
For an event abroad, one to two months ahead, mainly because of flights and because destinations fill up in high season.
Do you shoot the days around the main event?
Yes, and that is usually the best material: the team activity, the scenery, breakfast, the moments in between. A gala looks the same in every country. The days around it do not.
When do we get the photos?
The edited gallery arrives the day after the event, and on multi-day events in rounds. If you need photos for social media during the event, we can bring an on-site editor as a paid add-on.
