Headshots for attorneys and law firms

A client looking for a lawyer decides on feeling, and your picture is the first impression. We come to the office with a portable studio, photograph all the partners on the same background and in the same light, and deliver a matching set for the website, LinkedIn and legal directories.

Why an attorney's portrait is its own case

In ordinary portraits you can play. With attorneys you cannot, because the audience is looking for different signals. They are not looking for creativity. They are looking for someone they can trust in the least pleasant moment of their life.

That translates into specific decisions behind the camera: clean light without drama, an angle at eye level, a stable pose and a quiet background. A portrait that looks too original works against you here.

The real problem at most firms

Open the team page of almost any law firm. One partner was shot in a studio six years ago, one brought a picture from a conference, and one cropped himself from a family photo. Each is acceptable on its own. Together it looks like a firm that does not notice details, which is exactly what a client does not want in a lawyer. The fix is not to shoot more beautifully. It is to shoot everyone in the same conditions.

Firms we have worked with

Our clients include Herzog Fox & Neeman and M. Firon & Co., two of Israel's largest law firms. We know how to work inside a busy office without disrupting the day.

How it works at the office

01

A free meeting room

That is all we need. We set up lighting and a background without hanging anything on your walls.

02

Five to ten minutes a partner

People come in between meetings, on a schedule you set in advance. Nobody loses a working day.

03

We lock the set

Lighting, distances and background are documented, so we can return for a partner who joins later.

04

Crops for everywhere

Square for directories, vertical for the website, wide for articles. One picture, three formats.

What to wear

Fine stripes and prints shimmer on a screen and pull the eye from the face. A plain fabric in one tone always wins.

Tie or no tie is a decision for the firm, not the photographer. But if half the partners wear one and half do not, the set loses the consistency you did this for.

Hands. A crop that is too tight cuts them off and makes the person look stiff. We shoot at least to the waist.

Common questions

Do you come to the office?

Yes, that is the default. We set up in a free meeting room, and each partner comes in for ten minutes between meetings.

Can partners be shot on different dates and still match?

Yes. We document the lighting, distances and background from the first day and return with exactly the same set.

Can we get crops for directory profiles?

Yes. Every picture comes in several crops: square for profiles and directories, vertical for the firm's website, and wide for articles and publicity.

How long does a whole office take?

Five to ten minutes a partner. An office of ten attorneys is done in two hours, including setup and packing.
